How do I create a league?
Tap the "+" button on the home screen, select your sport, add player names, choose your match format (single set, best-of-3, or best-of-5), and tap "Create". Your round-robin schedule is generated instantly.
How do I score a match?
Tap any match in the schedule to open the scoring sheet. Use the stepper controls (+/-) to enter scores for each set. Rnkd validates scores based on each sport's rules automatically.
Can I edit a match score after entering it?
Yes, you can edit any match score as long as the league hasn't been finalized. Just tap the match again and adjust the scores.
What happens when I finalize a league?
Finalizing locks all results and displays the final standings with a champion podium. You can reopen a finalized league or session if you need to make changes.
What are Sessions?
Sessions are Americano-style doubles events for padel, pickleball, tennis, and other doubles sports. Partners rotate fairly so everyone plays with everyone. Individual points are tracked (not team wins). Great for one-night social play with 4–24 players.
How does Share Online work?
Share Online (Pro) publishes your standings as a web page at getrnkd.app/l/... that anyone can view in a browser. You get a URL, QR code, and optional password protection. You can also enable Live Updates to auto-refresh the page when you score a match, and allow players to submit scores from the web page. Shared pages expire after 14 days without an update.
Where is my data stored?
All data is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. No account or internet connection is required. The optional "Share Online" feature (Pro only) publishes standings to a web page hosted on Cloudflare — this is the only time data leaves your device, and you control exactly what is shared. Deleting the app removes all local data.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Open the Settings app on your iPhone → tap your name at the top → Subscriptions → Rnkd Pro → Cancel Subscription. You'll keep Pro access until the end of your current billing period. Lifetime purchases do not renew and never need to be canceled.
How do I restore my purchase on a new device?
Open Rnkd and go to Settings → tap "Restore Purchases". Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID you used for the original purchase. Active subscriptions and lifetime purchases will be restored automatically.
What are the free tier limits?
Free users can create up to 3 leagues and 3 sessions (lifetime total — deleting one frees a slot), with up to 12 players each. Shared images include a small watermark. All core features (scheduling, scoring, standings, profiles) work without limits. Pro unlocks unlimited leagues/sessions, online sharing, PDF export, custom colors, and removes the watermark.
